In early june, toyota announced the recall of nearly 100,000 tundra pickups and about 3,500 lexus luxury suvs to fix a problem that could cause their engines to. Officials say toyota is conducting a noncompliance safety recall involving certain model year 2024 toyota grand highlander and lexus tx vehicles.

Toyota and lexus will replace roughly 100,000 engines in tundra trucks and lx suvs built for the 2022 and 2023 model years. This is a record of safety issues for vehicles of this year, make, model and trim.
